I have dedicated my profile page to the loving memory of my friend Alexandra, who soared through this life like a shooting star. She really knew how to light up the sky for everyone she touched. Alas, we can no longer see her, but her light will shine brightly forever. I feel very fortunate to have had the honor and pleasure of knowing her. I will never forget her.

September 7, 2014 is Alexandra's 2 year anniversary of her untimely demise. She would have been 36 years old now. I want to keep her Love and Light alive for all those who knew her, as well as all those xHamster members who might be moved by her remarkable life story. On her anniversary, I will post a new blog story with a few thoughts and reflections about her.

September 7, 2015 marks the third anniversary of Alexandra's passing. I haven't really got any new details to report in the past year. I have stayed in touch with several mutual friends, and it is always nice to hear them repeat Alex's comforting line that all her friends still remember:

"Love and Light"

On the surface, it seems like a simple enough greeting, but for those of us who knew her, and had some idea of how much she struggled every day just to live as normal a life as she could, her words were courageous and challenging.

She fought a tremendous fight for all of her 34 years here in this life. She did it with dignity and strength, and incredible stubbornness and a steadfast refusal to quit that few of us can even comprehend.

Let us forever keep her spirit and determination alive:

"Love and Light" to you Alexandra, and to us all. And thank you.
